Iceland started the second half better, but they didn't create any significant opportunities. Despite the equalizer, Iceland sought the winning goal, which they found in the 86th minute through Bryndís Arna Níelsdóttir.
With this victory and a 3-2 aggregate score, Iceland secured a place in Group A.
